![]() You will spend most of the time in Veteran dungeons- get out of Apprentice as soon as possible because the rewards are too poor, but you won't need to do many Champion level ones and the risk goes up a lot in those. ![]() ![]() Sub 40 isn't very difficult- you just need to focus on levelling your 16 characters (always do Long quests), upgrading the Blacksmith and Guild (nothing else matters much, but a little in the Stagecoach and Infirmary might be helpful), and collecting as much gold as possible (try to find secret rooms most of the time). My second playthrough I won in 37 weeks (no DLC). The final reason as to why the Swine boss is the easiest is because even if your team members gets marked, the Swine Boss himself is very slow so you can easily heal anybody who is on Death's Door with a Vestal or Occultist.I think someone has actually beaten it in an improbably-sounding 12 weeks, but I think they might have abused some Colour of Madness mechanics. After this, Wilbur will gain an attack that stuns the entire party, but most of the time it will not stun everyone on your team. So killing the Swine boss is the best course of action when you fight him. This is because if you kill Wilbur, the Swine boss will become enraged and constantly hit the entire party with attacks that will always hit for high amounts of damage. Most people will kill Wilbur on their first try because of this, however, this is a very bad thing to do. If there aren't any marked team members, he will use a move that has a very high chance to miss and hit for a moderate amount of damage. Because of this, he has another enemy that stands behind him, called Wilbur, which marks your team members at the start of the round. Another reason is that his main form of attacks rely on having a target marked. First off, the main boss is in the frontline of the opposing team, meaning any frontliners will have a very easy time hitting him. He's not very difficult to defeat if you play your cards right. The Swine boss resides in the Warrens dungeon. ![]()
